First dinner of 2009

1st Jan

Alas! we finally had a party at Zenith's huge, humongous, massive, giant ( whatever that means HUGE) room. Seriously, those are the exact words people blurted out whenever they first step in her room.. and to think she pays the same amount as we do!

Oh, it was a hot pot party by the way. In Malaysia, we call it steamboat, but the Chinese call it hot pot. Perfect for sharing!

Empty rice cookers

Haha.. Ethan 'helping' to clean the vegetables.

Preparing the sauces. The brown box is wine contributed by James.

The ingredients.

The soup~ Yummy

Now thats more like it!

Haha! Look at James!

Aren't they sweet?

Well, I ran out of photos.

Thats all folks! I shall retire now.

Countdown to 2009!

What do you do at New Year's eve in London. Go to the London eye for fireworks of course!

Yup, thats exactly what we did. All 18 of us from Nutford House. Well, we initially set off with 18 people but dispersed later on for various reasons (James wasn't interested in fireworks and left to join his friends in a bar, we just lost Durgha and friends halfway..)

Oh yeah, believe it or not, we left the hall at around 8pm to get a good spot to view the fireworks. Haha! So we spent around 3 long hours waiting for the countdown.

It was really cold and all of us were shivering, so we sorta danced a little bit to the music blasting from the speakers to keep warm. A good way to pass time as well...

Another way to pass time... Photos!

This is what's left of the 18 ppl.....

Check out the crowd~

Oh, I have a video of us dancing around to the music. Haha~~

Finally, the countdown!

Here is a video of it~

Then came back around 1am on the tube... which is free of charge by the way. Yay!

Last but not least, I want to wish everyone

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Love,
Chee Huan..

About Me

Currently a student in London. Loves travelling, day-dreaming, pigging out on good food and dancing. I think one of the greatest blessings of life is to wake up in the morning without an alarm clock. Having a great time means a deep and meaningful conversation with friends. Absolutely hopeless in networking, words doesn't come out if I am pressured to talk. But if I feel like talking, you would wish you never had ears ;P
