Double standards that we embrace

Rules for Killing Rogues - By Victor David Handson

T
his was what exactly what went through my mind with I first heard of Osama's death.

So it is morally justificable and rejoiceable to assassinate your opponents when Obama does it? The success of this operation was seen as Obama's greatest achievement of his presidency to date and welcomed with utter jubilation by most of the world.

The right thing to do, would be to capture bin Laden alive and put him on trial. Although this means more debates and conflict on the legislation front, that could go on for years. I guess the Democrats would prefer to finish this bin Laden filecase that has been sitting on their tables for 10 years, and focus on winning the upcoming elections.

Hypocrisy right in our faces! This further proves that there are no real moral standards in this world, people just hear what they want to hear.

About Me

Currently a student in London. Loves travelling, day-dreaming, pigging out on good food and dancing. I think one of the greatest blessings of life is to wake up in the morning without an alarm clock. Having a great time means a deep and meaningful conversation with friends. Absolutely hopeless in networking, words doesn't come out if I am pressured to talk. But if I feel like talking, you would wish you never had ears ;P
