Imperial College students have other talents too!

Yes, I intended to be sarcastic.

Admit it guys, Imperial College (IC) students = geeks (Yes, thats including my dear brother.. no favoritism here!)

However, we saw a different side of them tonight. The evil side, the sissy side, even the inner Micheal Jackson side of the Malaysian community in IC.

All of these were showcased in their annual Malaysian night - Born to be Vile

To make things even better, my brother is part of the performance crew!!

I am sorry, I have to post this up. I have to!

You did a fanstastic job! Particularly loved the Indian dance and Dikir Barat. Oh, not the mention, the electrician scene ;)

(Warning: If you did not attend the play, you will find the following to be complete jibberish, as I am too lazy to explain the plot)

The opening dance. ACT COOL LA NOW

Microhard's CEO, Bill Backgates. YESSSS

Dikir barat with a modern twist. I know your name is not UCL, LSE or even Kings la, its Imperial, no need to remind us so many times!!!!

Stomp. GO BACK TO WORK!

Donald Tiram's Tiram Tower.

Overall, I can see that tremendous effort have been put to this production. And I enjoyed seeing how everyone on stage is having a good time performing. Great job guys!

My favorites from the play:

1) Di mana ada gula, di situ ada gula-gula.

2) Hujan emas di negeri orang, hujan batu di negeri sendiri, lebih baik tak hujan!

3) Gajah mati meninggal gading, udang mati meninggal kulit, manusia mati meninggal...... dunia.

4) Diam-diam ubi berisi, diam diam orang..... bisu

5) *guys playing DOTA* One said, "Wah, look at this fella, nickname is must-get-first-class-88" Then all of them shouted together, "MUST BE SINGAPOREAN LA!"

6) Health minister: "Errr, dis sos tiram ah, er... is not good la. It has kasinogen in it... so, err, it is not healthy la..... so... ban la"

7) "My house destroyed, my partners took over all my business, and me declared officially dead. All these happened just in one day.... Why, its sounds like the beginning of a really bad play!"

Ok, now I have to take back what I said about the Imperial people.... they are no longer geeks! Instead, now

Imperial College students = talented geeks!

Isn't that a compliment????

About Me

Currently a student in London. Loves travelling, day-dreaming, pigging out on good food and dancing. I think one of the greatest blessings of life is to wake up in the morning without an alarm clock. Having a great time means a deep and meaningful conversation with friends. Absolutely hopeless in networking, words doesn't come out if I am pressured to talk. But if I feel like talking, you would wish you never had ears ;P
